Why do the reception team ask for my symptoms?

When contacting the Practice for an appointment, please consider if a GP is the most qualified person for your symptoms

All of our non-clinical staff members, including the Reception Team, have received active signposting training, this provides staff with the knowledge and confidence to book you in with the most qualified person

When a member of the reception team is asking for your symptoms, this is to assist them with the signposting process at the Partners requests

The staff can signpost you to internal and external colleagues, and the following will help explain what alternative solutions are available
